About

What this is (and isn’t)

What is this site?

A personal index of film observations—short notes meant for rereading after a rewatch.

Do you review films here?

Not really. This is more about craft: structure, editing, sound, performance, and why a scene “works.”

Can I suggest a film or a scene?

Yes—send a title and the timestamp / scene description. I’m especially interested in scenes that misdirect elegantly.

Do the notes avoid spoilers?

Usually, yes. I focus on craft and structure. If an entry needs plot details, it’s labeled up front.
